Light rain began falling at my parents' house around 7 p.m. on Saturday the 13th. By 8:30 p.m. the temperature had fallen to freezing and ice slowly began to accumulate on elevated objects. By 11 p.m. the temperature was well below freezing and moderate sleet was falling mixed with a little snow. The snow didn't last long and even the sleet changed back to freezing rain shortly after midnight. Ice accumulations averaged around 1/3" of clear ice with 1/8" to 1/4" of sleet too. The ice partially melted off during the afternoon on Sunday as temperatures made it a few degrees above freezing. Monday the 15th was warmer with sunshine which melted virtually all the ice except in a few sheltered locations.
